The Child Abuse Prevention Council Placer was recognized by United Way California Capital Region for its 2007-08 Outstanding Agency Campaign. Through the generous contributions of CAPC Placer's employees, the agency increased its workplace giving by 24% over the previous year. This is the second year in a row that CAPC Placer employees increased their contributions to United Way by more than 20% over the previous year. We are proud to say, CAPC Placer was the only non-profit agency among other organizations from the corporate sector recognized for successful workplace giving campaigns. Our achievement is proof that even small groups can make a big impact!
